Jacob had a band named Hedley before he was on Canadian Idol, with different members. After being seen on CI, Tommy, Dave and Chris (who were a band that didn’t have a vocalist) gave Jacob a call and asked if he wanted to front their band, thus giving us the Hedley we love today.
